Frequently Asked Questions


In an effort to keep our students and the public at large informed about the college's operations, we have compiled a list of questions we anticipate being asked frequently as we continue to respond to the Coronavirus.

If you were negatively impacted during the Spring 2020 semester you may qualify for CARES Act funds. Please view this page for more information, and to apply.

  • How do I access my courses that were meeting face to face or hybrid?

    All course content is being delivered via Blackboard. Blackboard can be accessed from the top menu bar from any page on the College website or at https://beaufortccc.blackboard.com.

  • How do I contact my faculty advisor or an instructor?

    Email is the best method of initial communication to your faculty advisor or instructor. The email address for all employees is available online at http://www2.beaufortccc.edu/directory.

  • I’ve tried to call my faculty advisor or instructor and there is no answer or way to leave a voicemail. How can I contact them?

    All faculty and advisors will be telecommuting beginning 3/16/2020 for everyone's safety. Email is the best method of initial communication. The email address for all employees is available online at http://www2.beaufortccc.edu/directory. You can also contact your advisor or instructor through Blackboard.

  • Where can I find my faculty advisor or instructor on campus? The building is locked or empty.

  • Is the bookstore open?

    The BCCC Bookstore is staying open. You can still enter the top level of Building 5. Follett is offering free ground shipping on all online orders.

Can I still complete the admissions process?


Students needing assistance with applications, residency, or high school or college transcript submissions should email admissions@beaufortccc.edu.

Admissions staff will answer emails in 24-hours or less. We can virtually assist students with any admissions needs. Applications and residency determinations will be ongoing daily.

Students with allied health admissions questions should email ashley.rose@beaufortccc.edu and she will give direction on admissions procedures, deadlines, TEAS testing, etc.

How do I get a copy of my BCCC transcript?


Go to studentclearinghouse.org, click on the green Order-Track-Verify button, select Order a Transcript and then carefully follow the prompts.If you have any questions or problems, please email registrar@beaufortccc.edu.

How do I apply for graduation?


Our graduation application can be found on the BCCC website.From the homepage, click on About BCCC and then select Forms under the Helpful Resources heading.Once on the Forms page, type the word graduation in the search box and then click on the link to the Graduation Application.If you have any questions about graduation, please email registrar@beaufortccc.edu.

How do I withdraw from a class?


Email your instructor from your BCCC email address to let them know that you wish to withdraw from their class. Ask them to respond to you with your official Last Date of Attendance. Using your BCCC email account, forward their email response to registrar@beaufortccc.edu along with your request to withdraw from the class.
